Your Mission
Key Responsibilities
Governance & Leadership
- Lead, coach, and develop internal and external teams.
- Define objectives, training plans, and resource requirements.
- Manage and monitor budgets within your scope of responsibility.
- Contribute to strategic decisions and the evolution of the IT department.
- Ensure compliance with established standards, processes, and best practices.
SAP Ecosystem Management
- Define and implement the SAP IS-U ecosystem evolution strategy.
- Oversee both functional and technical architecture.
- Define development, management, and maintenance tools.
- Establish upgrade and continuous improvement processes.
- Ensure operational maintenance and evolution of the SAP S/4HANA platform.
- Perform capacity planning and anticipate future business needs.
Project Management
- Manage the current and future SAP IS-U project portfolio.
- Lead SAP implementation and transformation projects.
- Coordinate project teams and stakeholders.
- Ensure delivery within scope, budget, timeline, and quality expectations.
- Apply Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project methodologies as appropriate.
Vendor & Partner Management
- Manage relationships with external integrators and service providers.
- Participate in the selection of external resources.
- Monitor service quality and contractual commitments.
Compliance & Security
- Ensure compliance with GDPR, ISO 27001, and NIS2 requirements.
- Guarantee that processes and solutions under your responsibility meet security and regulatory standards.
Required Profile
Experience
- Minimum 20 years of professional experience.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in project management and team leadership.
- Proven experience managing an ERP Competence Center.
- Strong experience leading multiple full-cycle SAP implementations.
- Experience defining and executing SAP strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Experience managing mixed teams of internal and external resources of at least 20 people.
- Experience working within industrial environments.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the Utilities sector (water, energy, or public services) is highly desirable.
- Experience drafting specifications and public procurement documentation is considered a strong asset.

Although open to technologies used by our customers, ABAKUS IT-SOLUTIONS seeks mainly but not only consultants mastering: Windows and Linux Servers, networks, developments (JAVA, SAP, .NET,…) as well as highly specialized experts for example in cybersecurity or in Content Management System (CMS) (SharePoint, Drupal, WebLogic…).
In terms of non-technical competencies, ABAKUS IT-SOLUTIONS hires dynamic persons, open to the world, interested by innovation and having a keen sense of client relationship.
A very good command of English is essential, the capacity to speak French, German or Dutch is an asset.
Even though most of our positions require at least 3 years of experience, some are open to new starters.
