We are looking for a Medior DevOps Engineer to join an experienced, collaborative, and forward-thinking team. In this role, you will support development, technical support, and various internal teams in their day-to-day activities while championing quality, automation, and best practices.
Your Mission
As a DevOps Engineer, you will act as a reference for release and deployment excellence. You proactively seek process improvements and enjoy taking ownership of automation and optimisation initiatives. Your responsibilities include:
- Understanding system architecture to support and enhance process implementations (K8S, Ansible, …)
- Providing accurate estimations and progress updates
- Managing access control for source code and build tools
- Training new users on toolsets
- Following up on tool upgrades and technology evolution in the CI/CD ecosystem
- Monitoring tools, development, and test platforms
- Taking decisions related to software quality
- Selecting the most appropriate solutions among known options
- Contributing to budgeting for tools and licenses
- Supporting the Product Owner in defining the roadmap of several technical tools
- Collaborating professionally with internal and external stakeholders
- Promoting automation rather than manual “ClickOps” actions
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience automating application deployments across multiple environments
- Comfortable operating in a DevOps-driven environment and mastering the associated toolchains
- Strong knowledge of: Git, Jenkins, Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence, Linux, Bash, Docker, Ansible, Kubernetes
- Solid experience in CI/CD implementation, follow-up, and support
- Experience with scripting languages and software engineering best practices (unit tests, code quality, modular structures, …)
- Nice to have: AppDynamics, Hashicorp Vault, Helm
- Additional exposure is a plus: Terraform, GCP
