AISB-607 Business Analyst (Microsoft 365 / Digital Transformation)

About the Mission

You will join a central competence center supporting internal business partners in their digitalization journey. Your role is to understand, analyze, and translate organizational needs into clear and actionable requirements—contributing directly to smarter processes, improved collaboration, and modernized digital workflows.

You work within an evolving Microsoft 365 ecosystem, helping internal stakeholders rethink their processes and adopt new digital capabilities. Through strong analytical skills and a structured approach, you support both daily operational improvements and larger transformation initiatives.

This mission involves collaborating in a structured architectural framework, documenting your analyses with modeling languages such as ArchiMate or BPMN, and contributing to an overall digital strategy. You will also help strengthen and transfer knowledge within a developing competence pool.

Your Responsibilities

• Analyze, model, and optimize business processes within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem
• Translate digitalization needs into functional requirements and clear solution proposals
• Support major transformation projects by mapping processes and defining requirements for custom development or integrations
• Document architectures, workflows, and processes using ArchiMate, BPMN, and modeling tools
• Facilitate requirement workshops, ensuring alignment of expectations and clear communication
• Provide data-driven insights to guide decisions and improvements
• Collaborate in a multilingual environment, aligning closely with stakeholders and technical teams
• Contribute to the growth and maturity of an internal BA competence pool
• Work in a secure environment and undergo a mandatory security verification

Your Profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, ideally in M365 digitalization contexts
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 solutions (Power Platform, Teams, SharePoint, etc.) and integration capabilities
• Proven experience in business & functional analysis
• Skilled in enterprise and process modeling (ArchiMate, BPMN)
• Experience using tools like Sparx Enterprise Architect or similar
• Ability to facilitate workshops, gather and structure requirements, and document them clearly
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to derive insights from data
• Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management capabilities
• Comfortable working in dynamic, evolving environments
• Strong team collaboration skills and ability to help steer a group of Business Analysts
• Willing to work within a military context and comply with security clearance procedures
• Languages: Dutch, English, and French (active knowledge)
