About the Role
Join a dynamic, self-steering Agile squad dedicated to building a high-impact investment dashboard used by customers to gain real-time insights into their financial products. As part of a multidisciplinary team of 11 professionals, you’ll contribute to a product that plays a key role in enhancing accessibility and user experience across a major investment platform.

Your Mission
As a DEV Engineer, you’ll be a core contributor to the squad’s sprint goals, working across the full development lifecycle — from analysis and design to development, testing, and integration. You’ll collaborate closely with your teammates to deliver high-quality, production-ready features that align with the product vision and customer needs.
Your Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and integrate features in a fast-paced Agile environment
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to refine requirements
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of development practices and delivery speed
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and promote team values: focus, commitment, openness, respect, and courage
- Share knowledge and support team members across disciplines
Your Tech Toolbox
- Languages & Frameworks: Java 8, Spring Boot, Kafka, Flink, Groovy (Jenkins scripting)
- Testing: Cucumber/Gherkin, JUnit, Wiremock
- DevOps & CI/CD: Jenkins, Maven, Git, Octane
- Tools: IntelliJ, Java SQL Library, REST APIs (HttpEntity/ResponseEntity)
Your Profile
- Solid experience in Java development and modern backend frameworks
- Strong understanding of software architecture, networking, databases, and security practices
- Experience with Agile methodologies and cross-functional collaboration
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
- Fluent in English, with at least passive knowledge of French or Dutch
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field

Although open to technologies used by our customers, ABAKUS IT-SOLUTIONS seeks mainly but not only consultants mastering: Windows and Linux Servers, networks, developments (JAVA, SAP, .NET,…) as well as highly specialized experts for example in cybersecurity or in Content Management System (CMS) (SharePoint, Drupal, WebLogic…).
In terms of non-technical competencies, ABAKUS IT-SOLUTIONS hires dynamic persons, open to the world, interested by innovation and having a keen sense of client relationship.
A very good command of English is essential, the capacity to speak French, German or Dutch is an asset.
Even though most of our positions require at least 3 years of experience, some are open to new starters.
