About the role
You will join a technical team that develops and maintains intelligent traffic light priority systems for public transport. Your role sits at the intersection of application development, field integration and technical support: you configure, code, analyse and contribute directly to improving bus flow in urban environments.
Your responsibilities
Integration of new signalised intersections
- Provide technical support to suppliers and integrators when onboarding new intersections
- Analyse and integrate MAPEM files describing the topology of intersections
- Verify the compatibility of field equipment with ETSI standards
- Configure and validate connections between entry and exit lanes
- Participate in functional and technical testing (OTW systems, traffic light controllers)
- Monitor and follow up on incidents related to priority requests (SREM/SSEM)
Design and maintenance of approach curves
- Design and configure approach curves for bus lines
- Define announcement points and theoretical arrival times (TTS)
- Calculate and adjust reactivity constants for each intersection
- Validate the consistency of theoretical speeds and trajectories
- Maintain and optimise existing curves to ensure priority request quality
Evolution of the business interface
- Develop new features in Node.js based on business needs
- Adapt and evolve the intersection and approach curve management interface
- Participate in functional analysis sessions with business teams
- Carry out testing, bug fixing and production releases
Operational support and reporting
- Monitor and analyse RabbitMQ message exchanges
- Track statistics and events via Elasticsearch
- Participate in resolving production incidents
- Create performance reports on approach curves (with and without priority requests at intersections)
- Maintain functional and technical system documentation
