ABOUT THE ROLE
We're looking for a seasoned engineering leader who thrives at the intersection of technical depth and delivery accountability. You'll drive end-to-end outcomes across multiple squads and applications — from shaping technical architecture and optimizing Kanban flow to owning production deployments and guiding the team through complex platform transitions. This isn't a “manage the tickets” role. It's a seat at the table where technical vision meets business impact.
WHAT YOU'LL OWN
• End-to-end delivery accountability across all squad workstreams — from technical architecture and Kanban flow through to production deployment.
• Cross-application dependency management and ownership of the technical shift strategy across platforms.
• The single point of contact for project management with senior leadership and head of unit — translating engineering complexity into clear business language.
• Team coaching, continuous improvement culture, and coordination with the Product Owner, Technical Lead, and QA Lead.
WHAT YOU BRING
• Hands-on background in Java and/or JavaScript / React development.
• Strong command of Agile and Kanban, WIP management, and flow metrics.
• Experience leading technical migrations and platform shifts.
• Solid grasp of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and release management.
• Ability to translate technical complexity into clear, executive-level status and risk language.
• Proven delivery ownership — accountable for outcomes, not just execution.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
• University degree in a related field (Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent).
• 11+ years of experience in software engineering, including a leadership track record as a team lead or technical lead.
