We are looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team. If you thrive in coordinating IT processes, automating tasks, and working across multiple technologies, this could be your next opportunity.
Your Mission
- Manage Change, Incident, Problem, and Deployment/Release processes within IT Service Management.
- Set up and maintain release deployment processes and act as a coordinator for ITSM activities.
- Package and document releases according to company policies.
- Take ownership of requests and issues, acting as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for IT users.
- Support, review, and propose improvements to automate tasks execution.
- Produce, review, and maintain operational documentation.
- Assist in Root Cause Analysis investigations for incidents and problems.
- Set up and maintain applications and tools at all technical levels.
- Use DevOps tools for CI/CD processes.
- Monitor systems, middleware, and web applications performance, and troubleshoot issues.
Qualifications & Requirements
- University Degree in IT or related technology field (MSc preferred but not mandatory).
- 7+ years of relevant experience.
- Proven experience with:
- Software development methodologies and release management in a DevOps environment.
- ITIL best practices.
- Sybase and Oracle databases.
- Scripting languages (Unix Bash, Groovy, or equivalent).
- Programming languages (Python, Java, or equivalent).
- Web applications (Tomcat, Nginx, Apache).
- Code versioning systems (GitHub, Azure DevOps).
- Release planning, reporting, incident management, risk & impact assessment.
- Operating systems (Linux/Windows) performance monitoring and debugging.
- Middleware (JBoss EAP or equivalent).
- DevOps and release tools (GitHub, Nexus, Jenkins, Sonar, Jira, Azure DevOps, Ansible).
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
- Strong coordination, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
