ABAKUS IT SOLUTIONS is looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst SAP HR to support a major HR and Payroll transformation program in Belgium. You will play a key role in analyzing, designing, and optimizing Time Management, Payroll, and Post-Payroll processes within an SAP S/4HANA environment. Working closely with HR, Payroll, IT, and business stakeholders, you will ensure that regulatory requirements are translated into scalable functional solutions while supporting the implementation of new business processes and system enhancements. Your Responsibilities
- Analyze existing Time Management, Payroll, and Post-Payroll processes (AS-IS) and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Perform impact assessments related to new HR and payroll regulatory requirements.
- Translate business and regulatory needs into clear functional specifications.
- Lead workshops with HR, Payroll, IT, and business stakeholders to gather and challenge requirements.
- Produce detailed functional documentation and business specifications.
- Ensure consistency of SAP S/4HANA functional solutions across HR processes.
- Coordinate activities between business and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support the implementation of new functionalities and monitor project progress.
- Define and coordinate functional, integration, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) strategies.
- Prepare test scenarios, test scripts, and validate business compliance.
- Ensure data quality and support process compliance throughout the implementation.
- Assist business users during change management and production readiness activities.
- Work closely with project managers to identify risks, provide progress updates, and support successful project delivery.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a Senior Business Analyst in SAP HR environments.
- Strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA HR modules, including:
- Personnel Administration (PA)
- Time Management
- Payroll
- Post-Payroll processes
- Solid understanding of Belgian Payroll processes and social declarations.
- Experience with Time Management, Payroll, and complex workforce environments.
- Strong experience performing AS-IS / TO-BE business analysis.
- Ability to write detailed functional specifications and business documentation.
- Experience leading workshops with business and technical stakeholders.
- Strong knowledge of test strategy, integration testing, and User Acceptance Testing.
- Understanding of SAP interfaces and data exchange mechanisms.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to challenge business requirements and propose practical solutions.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- French or Dutch (Professional proficiency)
