AISB-921 Cybersecurity Consultant

You will work on governance, risk management, compliance, and security awareness topics while being able to translate technical concepts into understandable information for non-technical stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities

  • Support the definition and implementation of cybersecurity initiatives.
  • Maintain and improve information security policies in line with identified risks and organizational requirements.
  • Manage NIS2 compliance activities and monitor related action plans.
  • Ensure the follow-up of cybersecurity measures protecting data, systems, and networks.
  • Collaborate with IT teams and internal stakeholders to integrate security requirements into existing processes.
  • Identify and assess information security risks.
  • Contribute to cybersecurity awareness activities.
  • Prepare security posture reports and dashboards.
  • Stay up to date with cybersecurity trends, regulations, and best practices.
  • Support the implementation of security governance frameworks.

Required Profile

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, or related IT fields.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Security, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in security governance, risk management, and information security policies.
  • Experience with frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001, NIST CSF, CyberFundamentals, or NIS2 is a plus.
  • Certification such as Security+, ISO 27001 Foundation, or equivalent is an advantage.
  • Experience in project management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
  • Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Fluent in French or Dutch, with professional working proficiency in English.
