Mission Context
The mission is part of a corporate credit analysis team responsible for assessing credit applications from automotive dealer clients across the Benelux, with a specific focus on financing vehicle stock.
In addition to credit decisions, the team actively monitors risk exposure through regular reporting and portfolio analysis.
Due to the temporary absence of a team member, an experienced Corporate Credit Analyst is required to quickly support day‑to‑day activities and contribute operational value from the outset.
Role Description
As a Corporate Credit Analyst, you will be responsible for conducting thorough financial analyses related to credit requests from corporate clients. You will assess financing needs, ensure alignment with proposed credit lines, and contribute to sound credit decision‑making.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform financial analysis of corporate credit applications
- Analyse dealers’ financing needs and verify their consistency with requested credit facilities
- Collect and analyse commercial and financial information to assess counterparties
- Review and interpret balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and financial ratios
- Prepare credit proposals, including recommendations and credit decisions
- Propose and assess risk mitigants and potential guarantees
- Contribute to ongoing risk monitoring and reporting
- Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders in a fast‑paced environment
Required Qualifications & Experience
Education
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Strong background in financial statement analysis
Professional Experience
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Corporate Credit Analysis
Language Requirements
Candidates should ideally be bilingual; however, strong proficiency in the second national language and English is sufficient.
