Team Leader IT-Support (m/f/d)

In your new role Team Leader IT-Support (m/f/d) you will provide IT support for end users so that they can benefit from a comfortable IT environment. Your team is the first point of contact for all users at the Karlsruhe site. In this strategic role, you will be responsible for the daily team management and ensure that the services provided meet the expected service levels. You inspire your colleagues with commitment and passion. You are solution-oriented, enjoy working with people and are enthusiastic about solving tricky tasks.
Place of work: D-76344 Eggenstein-Leopoldshafen (Karlsruhe area).
What you will be doing:
- On daily basis you provide together with your team 1st / 2nd level support & troubleshooting for all users of the Karlsruhe site. You provide deskside and remote support services. You actively manage the support team at your location.
- Incident & Problem Management: you register end-user requests in the ticketing tooling. You are responsible for follow-up and the timely provision of solutions.
- You use infrastructure monitoring tools to proactively intervene on the local IT infrastructure.
- You manage all incidents in compliance with the procedures in place. You respect Service Level Agreements in place.
- You collaborate with other IT and support groups, internal and external. You regularly participate to meetings to improve the end user support level.
- You perform hardware rollout, repair and maintenance tasks.
What you should bring along:
- As passionate Support Engineer, you are a reliable team player, you enjoy working with people and solve tricky IT problems.
- You have expertise in Microsoft IT environments: Microsoft Windows 10, Microsoft Office Suite, Active Directory, Remote Desktop Tools.
- You have basic networking skills.
- You are fluent in English. German or any other language is considered as advantage.
- You are able to quickly assimilate complex procedures and information.
- An ITIL foundation level certification is considered as advantage.
