We are looking for a System Engineer with OpenShift experience (m/f/x) to join our team.

Job description:

As OpenShift System Engineer you support our container platform built on base of RedHat OpenShift. You administer, maintain and operate the system environments of our customers and ensure system availability. You implement the OpenShift cloud application platform, integrate it primarily into the deployment pipeline for our microservices and also take care of the operation. Since you are also always striving for efficiency, you automate recurring activities, build new applications and integrate existing ones.

Your profile:

You are a System Engineer with extensive experience in container orchestration and cloud application platforms. As a highly motivated individual you make things simply happen. You have a strong analytical mind and you pay attention to details. Furthermore, your experience matches the following:

• At least 3 years of professional experience as system engineer.
• Extensive practical experience using Kubernetes, Docker and OpenShift.
• A very good knowledge of OpenShift Service Catalogs, clustering, storage, backup & recovery, scaling and performance optimization
• Understanding of agile methods and the DevOps philosophy; detailed knowledge of the automation of CI/CD pipelines.
• Good knowledge of the design and development of micro services
• Know-how in Red Hat Ansible Automation, Red Hat OpenStack, Red Hat Satellite
• You are fluent in German (minimum C1 level required) and English (minimum B2 level required).
