To strengthen our team, we are looking for you as Senior Network Engineer (m/f/d). As an experienced Network Engineer with expertise in Cisco you will support and optimize the operation of critical network solutions.

Work location: hybrid work model, mainly remote from your home office (nationwide in Germany) as well as at the project site. 

Your role: 

• Design and implementation of (enterprise) networks and security concepts.
• Support of network projects in data center and in cloud environments. This includes new designs, extensions of existing networks, security projects.
• You plan network infrastructures in the team and then implement them based on Cisco technologies.
• You supervise the planning, control and implementation of optimizations to firewalls, switches, routers and security components.
• You are responsible for the operation and further development of our network in the LAN and WAN area as well as in the cloud with state-of-the-art technologies.
• You document all changes/new features of the infrastructure. 

Your profile: 

• You have a technical degree or have completed vocational training with a technical focus.
• You have several years of professional experience in the areas of WAN, LAN, network security.
• You bring solid practical experience in planning, installation, analysis, administration and configuration of network components based on Cisco.
• You already have experience with Cisco ACI technology, other SDN technologies and network management tools.
• You have a very good command of written and spoken German and English.
