IT Account Manager (m/w/d)
We are looking for a qualified and experienced IT Account Manager (m/f/d) with a focus on consulting and support for IT infrastructures and system solutions.
Overview:
The employee will play an important role in supporting our customers, particularly in larger and heterogeneous IT environments.
Your tasks:
- Consulting and supporting customers in heterogeneous IT infrastructures or in the consulting and system house environment.
- Responsible for account management in the IT sector, especially for customers in public administration and federal or state authorities.
- Moderating customer meetings as well as negotiating and resolving conflicts.
- Ensuring a results-oriented and structured approach, in compliance with IT service standards.
- Using MS Office (especially Outlook, Word, and Excel) for daily tasks.
- Handling requirements and process optimizations for the service delivery of an IT service provider.
- Supporting CRM data maintenance and analysis.
Must-have criteria:
- A successfully completed degree in business informatics, computer science, or a comparable field of study with an IT focus, alternatively a completed IT-related training with professional experience.
- At least one year of experience in consulting and supporting customers in large IT infrastructures, in the consulting and system house environment, or in account management for IT topics.
- Very good knowledge and at least one year of practical experience (180 days) in using MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- High initiative, resilience, and independence.
- Excellent communication skills and negotiation skills, even in escalating situations.
- Service and customer orientation, as well as team skills.
- Good knowledge of German (at least C1 level).
Nice-to-have criteria (Preferred):
- Experience in sales or account management for IT topics, particularly with public administrations.
- Experience in process and task allocation for IT service providers.
- Knowledge of using CRM tools and practical experience with them (at least one year between 09/2019 and 09/2024).
- ITIL certification.
- Quick comprehension, analytical thinking, and a structured working style.
