The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in script development, debugging, and maintaining in-house applications built on Perl and Korn Shell. They should be a self-learner, proactive, and capable of working independently in complex technical environments.

Responsibilities:

• Maintenance, evolution, and debugging of in-house applications based on Perl and Korn Shell.
• Demonstrate proficiency in working within a complex ecosystem, involving application development utilizing Perl scripts running in Korn Shell.
• Respond to a use case test as part of the selection procedure.
• Provide strong technical support and development expertise in Unix Shell (Korn), Perl, both in development and support capacities.

Required Skills:

• Demonstrable experience in working within a complex ecosystem involving application development with Perl scripts running in Korn Shell.
• Strong technical expertise in Unix shell (Korn), Perl – both development and support.
• 10+ years of hands-on experience and solid technical knowledge in developing bash, Perl scripts for maintaining, supporting, and debugging in-house applications.

Desirable Qualifications:

• Experience and solid technical knowledge in software configuration management, particularly ClearCase.

Working Conditions:

• Remote work possible up to 50% of the time.
• Candidate must hold citizenship within an EU Member State equivalent at the date of agreement signing.

Languages:

• Mandatory: Proficient in English – both oral and written.
• Working languages: English and French.
• Proficiency in any other European language would be advantageous.
