At ABAKUS IT SOLUTIONS, we are looking for an experienced IT Architect to contribute to the evolution of complex IT ecosystems within a large-scale, multi-domain environment. You will play a key role in analyzing, designing, and optimizing IT architectures, with a strong focus on integration strategies and modern application landscapes.
Your Responsibilities
- Conduct a comprehensive assessment of existing IT systems and applications
- Document application architectures (technologies, interfaces, data flows, capabilities)
- Analyze the current IT landscape and propose optimization strategies
- Perform GAP analyses to identify discrepancies between current and target architectures
- Define and design a target IT architecture aligned with business objectives
- Identify improvement initiatives and transformation roadmaps
- Deliver clear reports and executive-level presentations on findings and recommendations
- Analyze and assess new business and technical requirements, producing Architecture Decision Records (ADRs)
- Assess and document the current integration architecture (systems, interfaces, data flows)
- Evaluate architecture in terms of scalability, flexibility, security, and efficiency
- Define requirements for a modernized integration landscape
- Design and implement a target integration strategy (platforms, standards, protocols, patterns)
- Lead the definition and execution of Proof of Concepts (PoC) to validate solutions
- Analyze PoC outcomes and refine the final integration strategy
Your Profile
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience
- Extensive experience as an IT Architect in complex IT landscapes
- Proven track record in integration-heavy and large-scale IT projects
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
- Ability to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Fluent in German (C1 level required) and English
