Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst / Requirements Engineer to support IT initiatives by analysing, structuring, and documenting business and technical requirements. Acting as a key interface between business stakeholders, IT teams, and project management, you will ensure that requirements are clearly defined, consistent, traceable, and ready for implementation throughout the entire project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
The Business Analyst / Requirements Engineer will be responsible for:
- Analysing, structuring, and documenting business and technical requirements
- Planning and facilitating requirements workshops with relevant stakeholders
- Translating business needs into clear, actionable specifications (e.g. user stories, use cases, functional concepts)
- Ensuring completeness, consistency, and traceability of requirements
- Aligning and prioritising requirements with business units, IT teams, and project management
- Supporting the implementation phase through reviews of deliverables, clarification of open points, and change management
- Supporting acceptance testing, test phases, and go‑live activities from a requirements perspective
Profile & Qualifications
Required
- Several years of professional experience as a Business Analyst and/or Requirements Engineer in IT projects
- Proven experience in requirements management for complex systems
- Strong knowledge of requirements engineering methods and techniques, including interviews, workshops, user stories, use cases, UML, and BPMN
- Experience working in classical, agile, or hybrid project environments
- Structured and analytical working approach combined with strong communication skills
- Experience collaborating closely with business stakeholders and development teams
- German language proficiency at minimum C1 level (mandatory)
- EU nationality required
Nice to Have
- Professional working proficiency in English
- Industry experience in telecommunications (preferred but not mandatory)
- Certification in Business Analysis or Requirements Engineering (optional but advantageous)

A very good command of English is essential, the capacity to speak French, German or Dutch is an asset.
