AISB-802 Senior Cyber Security Architect

We are seeking an experienced Senior Cyber Security Architect to support the development, evolution, and governance of enterprise cyber security architecture within a complex, international environment.

Role Overview

You will contribute to shaping and maintaining end-to-end cyber security architecture frameworks, ensuring alignment between technology, applications, and the business processes they enable. The role focuses on designing scalable security capabilities, defining architectural standards, and supporting strategic security transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain cyber security architecture models describing relationships between systems, applications, and business functions
• Design and evolve cybersecurity service roadmaps, including mid- and long-term capability planning
• Produce architectural guidance, standards, and solution blueprints to support secure implementation across projects
• Contribute to the development of cyber security concepts, frameworks, and capability enhancements
• Support coordination and information-gathering activities across technical and stakeholder groups
• Produce clear, structured technical documentation and reports

Required Experience & Expertise

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in cyber security architecture or related technical security roles
• Experience designing and implementing security solutions in complex or enterprise-scale environments
• Background in developing technical requirements, system diagrams, and engineering documentation
• Knowledge of cyber security capability development and research activities
• Familiarity with cryptographic systems, including PKI and key management
• Experience with identity and access management solutions
• Understanding of network security monitoring, detection technologies, and segmentation principles
• Exposure to cloud security architecture and boundary protection mechanisms

Knowledge Areas

• Zero Trust principles and modern security architectures
• Risk management frameworks and methodologies
• Emerging technologies, including AI-driven security implications
• Basic computer forensics concepts
• Secure cloud infrastructure design principles

Skills

• Strong analytical thinking and structured problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to model complex systems using architecture frameworks
• Proficiency in ArchiMate modeling language
• Ability to operate in a collaborative, multi-stakeholder environment
• High-level professional proficiency in English

Certifications (preferred)

• Cybersecurity: CISSP, CISM, GIAC or equivalent
• Architecture frameworks: TOGAF, ArchiMate, ITIL or equivalent
  (Equivalent experience may be considered in place of certifications.)

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with relevant professional experience
• Alternatively, extensive professional experience in cyber security architecture and advanced technical environments may be considered

Work Environment
