As part of transformation and process optimization programs, an international organization is strengthening its teams and is looking for a Senior Business Analyst. The position is set within a dynamic environment, working closely with product, architecture, and delivery teams to ensure alignment between business needs and implemented technology solutions.
Role Context and Objectives
The Senior Business Analyst is responsible for the elicitation, analysis, and documentation of business, functional, and technical requirements. The role covers the full project lifecycle, from initial needs definition through solution validation.
The position requires close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to ensure consistency, traceability, and quality of requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Elicit, analyze, and document business, stakeholder, solution, and transition requirements.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, architects, and subject matter experts to understand business and technology strategies.
- Analyze and design new business processes.
- Identify and define detailed product requirements and use cases.
- Define application metrics and performance objectives in coordination with project managers and technical teams.
- Ensure clear and complete handover of requirements to design and development teams.
- Translate requirements into test conditions and expected results (functional, performance, and user acceptance testing).
- Actively manage requirements traceability, including impact and coverage analysis.
- Participate in quality reviews (designs, prototypes, functional deliverables) to ensure alignment with defined requirements.
- Define and drive the requirements management strategy throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate dependencies with development and technology delivery teams.
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams.
Profile
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in business analysis within complex and cross-functional environments.
- Strong understanding of project methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid models).
- Experience in process modeling and detailed functional specification writing.
- Solid knowledge of requirements management and traceability practices.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and documentation skills.
- Structured mindset with strong prioritization and results orientation.
