At ABAKUS IT SOLUTIONS, we are looking for a Smart Grid Project Manager to support innovative projects at the heart of the energy transition. In this role, you will coordinate technology-driven initiatives involving data, smart grid solutions, and modern digital platforms, working closely with both business and technical stakeholders. This is an opportunity to contribute to projects that improve the efficiency, reliability, and sustainability of critical energy infrastructures while using cutting-edge technologies such as data analytics, AI, and machine learning.
Your Responsibilities
- Support the project sponsor and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
- Initiate projects by clarifying scope, goals, assumptions, dependencies, and impacts.
- Coordinate communication with all stakeholders (business, IT, architecture, infrastructure, legal, procurement, etc.).
- Plan and manage project resources to ensure smooth execution.
- Lead project meetings, steering committees, and coordination sessions.
- Monitor project progress (scope, timeline, budget, and quality).
- Ensure timely delivery with the expected outcomes and business value.
- Manage dependencies and interfaces with other projects or applications.
- Identify, anticipate, and mitigate risks.
- Resolve issues and implement corrective actions when necessary.
- Ensure collaboration between multidisciplinary teams and external partners.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in project or program management.
- Proven experience with Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid methodologies.
- Experience in data-oriented projects (analytics, algorithms, or similar).
- Experience managing web or application development projects.
- End-to-end project experience across business, IT, legal, and procurement stakeholders.
- Ability to bridge the gap between business and technical teams.
- Experience working with engineering or technical profiles.
- Strong prioritization skills and the ability to maintain a strategic overview.
- Proactive, assertive, and pragmatic mindset.
- Experience in the energy sector is a strong asset.
- Experience with projects under regulatory constraints is a plus.
- Comfortable using Jira and Microsoft 365 (including Teams).
- Professional proficiency in French (C1 level).
- Project management certification is a plus.
