At ABAKUS IT SOLUTIONS, we are looking for a Middleware Services Product Owner to join our team. Your role will be both strategic and hands-on, guiding the team to deliver high-quality services at scale while ensuring operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Backlog Management: Create, clarify, maintain, and prioritize backlog items; organize releases
- Stakeholder Communication: Gather requirements, collect feedback, and ensure alignment between the team and stakeholders
- Team Support & Coaching: Guide daily operations, balance operational and development work, and coach the team towards autonomy
- Quality Assurance: Focus on both functional and non-functional aspects of service delivery at scale
- Vision & Strategy: Facilitate the definition of service vision and roadmap
- Project & Delivery Management: Support project planning, coordination, and delivery activities
Skills & Qualifications
- Product Ownership: Confirmed experience in defining priorities and managing backlogs
- Agile Methodologies: Junior level, with knowledge of Scrum or Kanban practices
- Requirements Analysis: Confirmed ability to analyze needs and define clear requirements
- Middleware Technologies: Confirmed experience with messaging, routing, hosting, logging, and API Gateway services
- IT Infrastructure Management: Confirmed understanding of concepts and operational aspects
- Coaching & Leadership: Junior experience in mentoring or guiding team members
- Project & Delivery Management: Junior level experience supporting projects and delivery cycles
- Languages: Active knowledge of French, English, and Dutch

Although open to technologies used by our customers, ABAKUS IT-SOLUTIONS seeks mainly but not only consultants mastering: Windows and Linux Servers, networks, developments (JAVA, SAP, .NET,…) as well as highly specialized experts for example in cybersecurity or in Content Management System (CMS) (SharePoint, Drupal, WebLogic…).
In terms of non-technical competencies, ABAKUS IT-SOLUTIONS hires dynamic persons, open to the world, interested by innovation and having a keen sense of client relationship.
A very good command of English is essential, the capacity to speak French, German or Dutch is an asset.
