We are looking for an experienced Java DevOps Engineer to join a development team based in Luxembourg. The selected candidate will actively contribute to the modernization of tools, technologies, and application services in an environment transitioning toward a stronger DevSecOps approach.
Your Responsibilities
In this role, you will support application teams during technical transitions and migrations related to organizational standards and tools.
Your main tasks will include:
- Developing and maintaining complex applications using Java / JavaScript.
- Integrating DevSecOps practices and addressing security and code quality issues.
- Participating in follow-up meetings (on-site and remote).
- Preparing technical documentation in English.
Technical Skills
- Strong command of Java / JavaScript and the Spring Boot framework.
- Proven experience with SonarQube, GitOps, JUnit, Oracle DB, and PostgreSQL.
- Solid understanding of DevSecOps concepts and related tools.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity and experience with vulnerability remediation using analysis tools.
- Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS) is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Comfortable working in agile environments.
Profile
- Minimum 6 years of experience in Web or JEE development.
- Experience providing technical support and conducting technology research.
- Ability to design and present innovative technical solutions.
- Excellent command of English (C1–C2 level); French is considered an asset.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- EU nationality or valid work permit for Luxembourg required.
